Autumn Empties

It’s been a couple of months since I have done an empties post because quite frankly I was feeling a little bored with them. I wasn’t enjoying writing them anymore, and it was a chore instead of the joy that writing usually is, so I decided that instead of doing an empties post every month I would do them every couple of months.

So today I’m sharing what I have used up in September, October, and the early part of November.

GLAMGLOW Super Cleanse Daily Clearing Cleanser

This is such a great cleanser! I picked this mini up at T.J Maxx last month, and I absolutely loved it, in fact, it made it into my monthly favorites.(here) This had several steps to using it, but I found it left my skin feeling amazing as well as pampered.

THE BODY SHOP Tea Tree Skin Clearing Mattifying Toner

This is another mini from T.J Maxx, but I have since purchased a full sized( also from T.J Maxx). I have been having more issues with my skin and I have been finding that this toner is both gentle and effective.

SEPHORA Waterproof Makeup Remover

To be completely honest I wasn’t a big fan of this makeup remover. I received this in one of my first Sephora Play boxes and never really used when I did finally use it I found that I had to really scrub to get my mascara off properly. I did end up using it, but not for what it was designed for. Did you know that makeup remover works really well for getting that annoying residue from price tag off of things? It works well for glass, and I also found that it got it off of CD cases too.

SKINLAB Daily Moisturizer

This was kind of an unremarkable moisture, it was very rich with a pudding-like texture, and it was very moisturizing but it didn’t sit very well with my makeup.

BELIF The True Cream Moisturizing Bomb

I really like this moisturizer, it was light and soaked in almost instantly. I have tried some of Belif’s products before and have always really enjoyed them.

BURT’S BEES Coconut & Pear Moisturizing Lip Balm

I had this lip balm recommended to me by the lovely Katie from Beauty From Katie, and she was spot on. It smells nice, it feels nice, and it works really well. I’m definitely going to my picking this up again soon.

RIMMEL Match Perfection

This makes a pretty regular appearance in my empties. I love this concealer, and I usually repurchase it before it even runs out, but right now I’m testing out some other concealers so I don’t have this in my collection right now.

I use it as a highlighting concealer for under my eyes and on my chin and forehead.

L’OREAL Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation

I believe that I have this in the lightest shade, and it’s a perfect match for me. This is a great medium coverage foundation, and I’m sure I will be picking it up again before too long.

IT Superhero Mascara

This is a great mascara, one of the two that I actually like. It gives my lashes great volume without getting them clumpy.

ULTA BEAUTY Nude Matte Eye Shadow Primer

This came in one of those sets that stores give out from time to time when you spend a certain amount. This was a nice little primer, it gave my eyelids an even cover and held the shadow nicely.

STILA Lip Glaze in Banana Berry & Raspberry Sorbet

I got these at TJ Maxx ages ago, as part of Stila’s Sweet Shop collection that I don’t think they have discontinued. These glosses were nice, but they were the classic lip gloss formula. Banana Berry is a warm nude, and Raspberry Sorbet is a bright berry pink.

This was a good little product, but I was world changing. It is a cream that is gold and slightly shimmery.

I’m really sad to be out of this polish, it is a perfect vintage red. I loved wearing it when I was going for a 40s/50s look.

ESSIE- Baby’s Breath

This is a lovely pinky white. I have been wearing this type of color a lot lately, it just so clean and fresh looking.,

ESSIE-Big Spender

I didn’t wear this one very much so it actually dried out, and when I did go to use it it didn’t work properly.

So those are the products I have used up over the past couple of months, minus the shampoo and conditioner, and stuff like that.

What have you used up lately?
